Parent Counselling and Psychoeducation

Parent counselling is not about finding what you did wrong. It is about keeping what works, changing what does not, and building a shared language between two parents.

How it works

Counselling does not begin with a list of general advice. It starts by mapping the family's actual day: when the difficulty appears, in what sequence, and what usually follows. One or two concrete changes are then agreed and tried for a week, and reviewed at the next meeting.

Online sessions

Parent counselling works as well online as in person, and is available in English from anywhere.

Frequently asked questions

Does my child need to attend?
No. Parent counselling is conducted with parents. If working directly with the child is indicated, that is planned separately.
How many meetings?
Four to six meetings is usually enough for a defined topic; some families need only a single consultation.
Can you run a workshop for our school?
Yes. Parent and teacher seminars can be arranged for schools and institutions; content and length are agreed in advance.
